Seareal delivers Community Participation across the Sunshine Coast (Caloundra to Noosa), part of our five-region Queensland footprint. Workers are based locally, not flown in or managed remotely from another region.

What community participation includes

  • Social outings
  • Hobby and interest groups
  • Community events
  • Volunteer work

Why local delivery matters on the Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast stretches a long way, from Caloundra in the south up to Noosa in the north, and a provider unfamiliar with the region can easily place you with a worker who has an hour's drive before they even arrive. Our Sunshine Coast workers live locally, across the Caloundra to Noosa stretch, and are matched to your area specifically, not the region as a whole.

Less turnover, more continuity

Plenty of providers run a fixed set of group activities and slot participants in wherever there's space. We start from what you're actually interested in, then build support around that, rather than a generic activity list.

Why choose Seareal on the Sunshine Coast

  • Two or three regular workers assigned to you, not a rotating roster of strangers
  • A real person answers the phone, no call queues or chasing case managers
  • Our Sunshine Coast team, covering Caloundra through to Noosa, matched on personality, language, and gender preferences
  • Honest about fit. If we're not right for your situation, we'll say so

Funding your community participation

Community participation is generally funded through Core Supports, under Assistance with Social and Community Participation.

Problems Faced by NDIS Participants

Community participation often turns into a fixed activity list a participant didn't choose, rather than genuine engagement with things they actually enjoy, and a rotating cast of support workers makes it harder to build the confidence needed to try new places or activities.

How We Solve This & How Active We Are on the Sunshine Coast

We're actively delivering support right across the Sunshine Coast, from Caloundra to Noosa, with workers who live in the area rather than commuting long distances for a single shift. Combined with keeping two or three regular workers assigned to each participant rather than a rotating roster, this means community participation here is delivered by people who actually know both you and the area.
